 What are the differences of QUAD and MUX?
With QUAD mode recording, DVR records and playbacks 4channels in one streaming. With MUX mode recording, DVR records and playbacks 4channels separately so it increases HDD efficiency

 Is Event log saved? Can user playback from event logs?
DVR can save event logs. But there is no function that user can playback the data from event logs. 

 Is there internal Buzzer? Can be the buzzer triggered by Events?
Although DVR bears internal buzzer, the internal buzzer is not liked with Eevents.

Does an audio effect a recording speed? What is the size of audio?
It doesn’t effect. The audio compression is G.711 and the size is about 8KB/Sec.

 What is the Max capacity of HDD?
Up to 2 hdds can be installed. Each can be up to 500GB

 What is the capacity to record?
Up to about 200days with a 250GB HDD under the recording condition of 1fps, 4channels, 360x240, and high quality

 What kind of HDD is compatible with DVR?
Any of IDE, ATA HDD.

 What happens if user install HDD used in PC into DVR?
You can use HDD used in PC. But once HDD runs in DVR, all file data and file system will be deleted.

 Can we playback the data of HDD in DVR on desktop PC?
No. File format in DVR is totally different with Windows and any other Linux so we can’t access HDD used in DVR on other O/S system.

 I forgot my password?
Please contact with a system installer or dealer.

Can I use a VGA monitor?
Yes, the DVR has a VGA port.

 Does DVR support Network in PSTN?
No. DVR doesn’t support

 Is the Remote Access speed supposed to be slower than the LAN speed?
Yes, LAN speed will always be faster.

How can I link PTZ camera of RS-232C?
RS-485 port is only for camera PTZ operation. You need to use “RS-485 to RS-232C
Converter”.

Even though I connect sensor properly, it is not operated
Please check that sensor should be powered by 10~12V. And also make sure of the connections of positive and negative.

 Does DVR support Dynamic IP?
Yes, DVR support Dynamic IP.

“HDD INSTALLATION FAILURE” message pops up.
Please check that HDD are firmly installed and connected in HDD rack. And also check that HDD rack is locked.

 Is DVR compatible with any USB memory stick?
Some of models might not be compatible. The confirmed models are <UNIDRIVE “KMF-UD” USB2.0, 128MB>, < SANDISK ? CRUZER mini (SDC22-128) 128MB>, <IOMEGA "MINI DRIVE" USB2.0, 128MB>, & <SONY MICRO-VAULT USB2.0, 128MB>.
